Review Steps and Skips (use the music on the board) Mention that students will get the quiz below (on steps and skips and on Hispanic Heritage month) at the end of the lesson.
- - - Have students on the carpets share a xylophone or metallophone (with the person sitting next to them)
    - Have group A (students on the right) play the steps on the board up and back.
    - Have group A play the skips on the board up and back.
    - Repeat with group B (students on the left)
